Privacy
This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising code. It counts visits without cookies. Here is everything it loads, and what happens when you sign up or buy.
What does this website collect?
No cookies. The site uses no chat widgets and no advertising or tracking pixels. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stores nothing in your browser (see Visit counts, below). Fonts, images and the free downloads come from this site, and the free sampler and printables download without asking for any personal information.
Your browser keeps two small notes from this site, which never leave your browser: whether you’ve already seen, used or closed the offer of the free fan chart, so it isn’t offered again; and, for one visit only, which of our ads or emails brought you here, so a purchase is credited to it.
Every page also loads Gumroad’s checkout script from gumroad.com. It opens Gumroad’s checkout and tells Gumroad which page a purchase or signup came from.
Visit counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, from the company that hosts this site. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It records which page was viewed, the site you came from and how quickly the page loaded, without identifying you (Cloudflare’s description).
What does the web host see?
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic request information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We see only totals, such as how many requests a page received. We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which report how the site appears in search results; they add nothing to this site.
What happens when I ask for the free fan chart?
“Get it free” opens Gumroad, which delivers The Family Fan Chart. Gumroad collects your email address, and your name if you enter one, under Gumroad’s privacy policy, and passes them to us, Wren & Co., as the seller.
We use them to send you the chart and 6 short emails over 3 weeks: a welcome, free tips for filling in the chart, and a last one about our kit. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can also reply to any of them to be removed. We don’t sell or share your email address.
What happens when I buy?
Buy buttons take you to Gumroad’s checkout. Gumroad collects the details needed to process your payment and deliver your files, under Gumroad’s privacy policy. Your card details go to Gumroad, not to us. As the seller, we receive your name, email address and purchase details from Gumroad so we can help you and handle refunds. We don’t sell or share them.
Your privacy choices
There is nothing to switch off on this site: it sets no cookies and loads no advertising code.
To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, reply to any of our emails or to your Gumroad receipt.
