Where are my files?

  1. Open the receipt email from Gumroad

Right after checkout, Gumroad emails a receipt to the address you used. Choose View content and enter that email address if you’re asked; your download page opens (Gumroad Help Center). Search your inbox for “Gumroad” or “Fill In the Dots”, and check your spam or junk folder.

  2. Can’t find the email?

Open the kit’s page on Gumroad and choose Already bought this? Get your download link. Gumroad sends the link to the email address you used at checkout.

  3. Use your Gumroad Library

If you create a free Gumroad account with the same email address, your purchase also appears in your Library at gumroad.com/library (Gumroad Help Center). You don’t need an account to buy.

Which file do I open first?

Open The Guide and turn to Start here on page 4. Choose US Letter in the United States and Canada and A4 in most other countries; the pages are the same. The guide tells you which form to print for each sitting.

How do I open and print them?

  • PDFs: on Gumroad’s download page you can choose Read to open a PDF in your browser, or download it. We opened every PDF in Chrome, in Firefox, and with Apple’s PDFKit, the software Preview and Safari use to show PDFs on a Mac.
  • Typing into the forms: open the forms PDF in a PDF reader, click a line to type, and click a circle to fill it. In Firefox and with PDFKit, we typed into the forms, filled the circles, saved them and opened them again: the entries were still there. Save often, and keep a blank copy.
  • The Research Workbook is an .xlsx spreadsheet. It’s an .xlsx file, the standard Excel format. We opened and checked it in Apple Numbers and LibreOffice Calc.
  • Printing: choose Actual size or 100%, not “Fit to page”. Black and white is fine — nothing on the forms depends on color.
